Goan Spicy Crab Masala

Hello friends this is my sixth recipe
 Goan spicy crab masala, if you are seafood lover then this recipe will make your mouth water.


       Goan Spicy Crab Masala 


Ingredients :
1.8 Crabs cleaned
For masala
1. Onion medium sized and long cut
2.4 byadagi dired chillies
3. 1/2 teaspoon ajwain (Carom seeds)
4. 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
5. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
6. 1 teaspoon fennel seeds (saunf)
7. 2 mace (javitri)
8. 1 nutmeg, small piece
9. 1 inch cinnamon stick (dalchini)
10.2 star anise
11. 4 cloves garlic
12. 4 tablespoons coriander seeds
13. 4 whole black Peppercorns
14. Fresh coconut, fistful and grated
15. Cooking oil, as required
  Additional :
1 onion , chopped
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
20 grams tamarind
2 sprig coriander leaves, finely chopped
Salt, as required

Directions for recipe :
To begin making the goan spicy crab masala recipe, first wash the crabs properly.
In a pan ,add around 2 tablespoon of oil and fry all the ingredients mentions for masala.
Fry in medium flame till coconut and onion turn brown and it leaves nice aroma. Let this cool off for some time.
When cooled grind It to a smooth paste. Add little water while grinding. In another pot, add crabs and chopped onion.
To this add little water, salt ,malvani masala and turmeric powder. Let this cool till crabs change colour and cooked. Add the ground paste and stir and cook for some time. Add chopped coriander leaves and server hot .
Serve Goan Spicy Crab Masala along with patatha or steamed rice.
